The Chrismont Montessori Classroom is actually designed to bring the outside world into the environment and segment it for the children to comprehend and explore. The classroom is divided into sections which are designated for the different curriculum areas. Learning materials are arranged on specific shelves, or floor areas. Classroom placement of the Montessori materials is important. An appropriate flow for ease of movement and to be aesthetically pleasing is the goal of all Montessori teachers. To make this happen, the arrangement of classrooms will vary, however, the basic learning materials will remain the same. The classrooms at the Chrismont Montessori Academy present the same look and feel, but are enhanced by the personality of each teacher. A calm and contributive spirit of our administration, staff, and students make a very pleasant and happy experience for everyone.
