Welcome to Chrismont Montessori Academy.

 

Whether I am sitting around the table sharing lunch among the elementary students or sharing a song with the 3 to 6 year old students, I am in awe of the potential that lies within each child. Our school looks to celebrate the individual talents of each child. We strive to light up the children’s eyes and minds and maintain this enlightenment and excitement as they begin to uncover their passion.

Guided by Montessori philosophy, our students learn in multi-age enriched environments specifically designed to support the student’s social, emotional, academic and physical needs. Our specialized teachers are experts in the age range they teach and foster a classroom community of respect, joy, peace and a love of learning.

Our dynamic Montessori curriculum, grounded in cognitive-based research, offers the child a collaborative learning environment as it supports the individual strengths of each child. It allows time for students to uncover their gifts with opportunities to explore and to solve problems. Our ultimate goal is to develop students to be independent and dynamic thinkers who, as adolescents and adults, will strive to make positive contributions in their world.

Chrismont Montessori Academy cultivates a strong connection between home and school. We recognize that parents are our greatest partners and we encourage a close relationship between parents and school. Our parents are often observed helping in the classrooms, sharing their expertise with our students or volunteering to support school events.
